Classic. Cherry compote, sarsaparilla, cola, quinoa bark, marjoram and bone broth aromas lead the charge — then there's more. Pot pourri, lilac and uplifting florals speak to Koomilya's influence. A rousing thump of redness on the palate, so typical of Tempranillo.

The 2024 vintage of this estate-grown McLaren Vale Nero continues to astonish. Always primary, juicy and bouncy — think a pumped-up Grenache. Officially known as Calabrese in Italy, Nero is a modern evolution of Sicily's most widely planted red grape: early flowering, late ripening, tolerating heat and retaining freshness in equal measure. The consistency from year to year is remarkable, and the new label reflects the wine's evolving identity.
