From the dark-fruited charm of Montepulciano to the savoury lift of Grenache Shiraz Touriga, and the rich, textural depth of Tempranillo Touriga, this trio celebrates bold blends, vibrant character, and seasonal generosity.

Italian giggle juice! A wine that immediately introduces itself and sets up for a good time, and a variety Stephen has great hope for in our warm climate.

Dark plum, blueberry, bitumen, pipe tobacco, rosemary and fresh spring oregano. Mulberries always make an entrance but this vintage they come late, and they’ve found an excuse to party hard. 

S.C.PANNELL GRENACHE SHIRAZ TOURIGA 2023

The 'Purple One’ is our all-rounder: anywhere, anytime with anything. A wine that comes from our amazingly textured McLaren Vale landscape representing the diversity possible of blended red wine. 

The climatic suitability of both Grenache and Touriga to the South Australian climate means fewer inputs required in the winery delivering wines with amazing depth, complexity, and flavour. Grenache brings lifted aromatics and its trademark sandy tannins. Shiraz chimes in with red fruits, spice, and weight, whilst the Touriga Nacional adds punchy plum pudding, dried spice and florals. The resultant wine is so much more than just the sum of its parts and is always irresistible.

Otherwise known as ‘The Red One’, a wine inspired by both the climate and lifestyle of the Iberian Peninsula. Both varieties are unquestionably suited to South Australian winegrowing conditions resulting in wines with natural balance, complexity and flavour. 70% Tempranillo | 30% Touriga Nacional

Liqueur cherries from a freshly opened jar, orange rind, citrus caramel, Australian wood land in summer, liquorice sticks, clove, ground fennel, sticky fruit in a large bowl soaked in Beenleigh rum ready for the pudding basin - familiar Australian kitchen aromas and flavours mean these varieties are right at home.
